What is eFPL? 

eFootball Fair Play League

The eFootball Fair Play League (eFPL) is about playing eFootball the way it should be played: fair rules, balanced squads, and authentic PES-style gameplay.

No exploits. No overpowered special cards. Just proper football where everyone is on the same page.

Founded by two former Top 100 players in online divisions, eFPL was created to bring back the spirit of PES were matches are decided by skill, not gimmicks or unfair advantages.

⚖️ The Rules

1) Formations Very important

Use only default formations from the in-game list.

• No custom formations.

• No dragging/moving players on the formation screen — players must stay in their default slot.

• You may change a player’s role with Triangle/Y (role only; their position on the gameplan stays the same).

2) Squads

• No Big Time, Epics, or Showtime players. Very important 

• No Double Booster Managers are allowed.

• Only Standard, Featured, Highlight, Trending players are allowed.

• Sub Tactic must be disabled.

3) Matches

• Match length: 10 minutes.

• Conditions: Random.

• Quitting mid-game = automatic loss.

• If the connection is poor, pause early and agree to restart.

• If possible, record or stream your games.

4) Fair Play

• No Smart-Assist  Very important 

• Respect opponents.

• No time-wasting or toxic behaviour.

• Pause etiquette: only at stoppages or with mutual consent.

• No exploiting disconnects/lag; restart by agreement if needed.

• Aim for competitive and enjoyable matches.

🏆 League Format 

How the Season Works

• Three Divisions: The eFPL runs with three equal divisions: Diamond League, Ruby League, and Sapphire League. All take place at the same time.

• Season Structure: Each player faces every opponent in their division twice (home & away style).

• Season deadlines: Every season has an official start date and end date. All fixtures must be played within these dates. 

• Mid-season deadline: By the halfway point, every player must have played at least one match against each opponent. Missing this deadline may result in points deductions.

• League Champions: At the end of the season, the team finishing top of each division is crowned that division’s League Champion. There are no relegation or playoffs.

• Champions Cup Qualification: The top 5 teams from each league, plus the best 6th-place team across all three divisions, qualify for the Champions Cup.

• Champions Cup: This is a separate straight knockout 16 team tournament. It runs after the league season has finished and crowns the Champions Cup Winner. This title is separate from the individual League Champions.

• Reshuffle Every 3 Seasons: To keep competition fresh, every three seasons the player pool is randomly redrawn into new Diamond, Ruby, and Sapphire divisions.
